This is a Conn 10M tenor saxophone with serial number 270,xxx, dating to 1935, which makes it one of the earliest 10M saxophones. These early models have slightly different engraving to the later ‘Lady Face’ and ‘Naked Lady’ models but feature all of the free-blowing fatness that 10Ms are known for.
