Vintage metal, I believe chrome tail piece. Ive included lots of pictures with a ruler so you have an idea of length, string spread and physical condition. I don't see any damage and the piece is in good physical condition. You can see some rusting on the underside that would have been in contact with a ground wire. There is some oxidation and light pitting, but I believe this would shine up nicely with a good cleaning and polishing.
