A Selmer Soloist tenor saxophone mouthpiece in immaculate condition. This was the mouthpiece provided with a Mark V1. ( these were C, C* or D) It is a C facing. This provides a neutral tone, suited to classical or refined playing. The facing looks new and yet it was made seventy years ago. It is complete with original cap, ligature and reed box. Examples with more open facings can sell for two or three times this price, and of course it could be opened up if required.
