Kluson supplied machine heads to Gibson for use on their 60's and 70's Les Paul ranges. I had 6 of these originally and used 4 on a prototype 6 string bass in 1980 (keeping 2 of the bass's original tuners as these Klusons couldn't take the thicker E and A bass strings).
