“Discovery 21” Harp made in Wales, by Derwent Harps. 21 Nylon strings from F below mid-C up to E. Sharping levers on the F, B and C strings, so it plays in the keys of F, C, G and D. The finish has lots of flaws (see photos) but they do not affect the playability of the harp; it is solidly constructed, and is durable. The flaws add to its rustic charm ???? the string spacing is fairly standard. Sound is good. I added a pick-up to the inside of the soundboard, so it can be amped up. There is some subtle and tasteful decoration on the soundboard, a Celtic lion which is lightly engraved and highlighted with gold paint. It comes with a tuning key but no case Overall height 90cm.
