The violin has a label inside inside that reads "NICOLAUS AMATUS FECIT IN CREMONA 1645". (I'm guessing it is not as old as the label implies). 14.25" long and 7.75" wide. There is a tight crack in the top surface near the tail piece and as you can see there is a lot of wear to the varnish.
