Stamped France on the bell and on the upper section Barendsen Evanston Il, from my research I found that it was a music shop that imported violins and other instruments in the 1920's. This insturmetn is in good conditon with all parts moving and no cracks in the wood, i needs new pads and corks, the included mouthpiece is a Selmer Goldentone. The handles on the case are broken.
