Beautiful Bart Reiter Galax model banjo, made 2006 according to the serial number in Lansing Michegan; the maker has retired and these are much sought after (e.g. look at Elderly Instruments for prices which start at around $1900) 11 inch pot, whyte laydie tone ring. Comes with hard case. Plays really well and has a sweet tone. Neck is really comfortable in the hand. Has a few minor dings as would be expected from a 20 year old instrument but nothing that affects playability. I am selling because I want to reduce my instrument collection, and felt this one would go to a good home.
