Besson Wooden Military Flute. I bought this flute in Nottingham ca.1961 from a second-hand shop. According to a number stamped on the instrument it was manufactured in 1953. Also on the instrument: F Besson 198 Euston Road London. I have tried to record the cracks in the wood ( crocus or rose? dunno!) The leather holster is a bit dilapidated. I never progressed much in playing the flute, partly because I am incompetent and I stuggled with embouchure (izzit?) Barry
