concertina / Wheatstone/ early model, 1850’s

£720.70

This was my father’s concertina. I have kept it for sentimental reasons but now wish to pass on. He purchased it in the 1970’s and I recall him taking it to London to have new reeds fitted and a refurbishment. The address that it went to is still on the box. I know that is a long time ago now but it has always been dry stored. All the 48 keys work and the bellows are sound and in good order. It has surface wear as befits an instrument of its age.. we run a cafe and a couple of years ago an accomplished player turned up. That was the best that I have ever heard it played.
