Cornet Bb J Michael CR 00053 Silver Plated This is an ex-School Bb Cornet - I have shown lots of photos which describe its condition - all valves, caps, tuning slides and water keys are free moving - the instrument tunes-up easily and plays well. This is an ideal cornet for a learner or returner - I have tried to show that the bell has a small blemish to the plating, and that the tuning slide has been re-soldered - it is not at all shabby though, it just needs someone with a silver polishing cloth and a morning to spare, and it will come-up really nicely - and when it’s time for something a little newer, you will always find a family looking for a good second instrument. It will be promptly dispatched and will come in a hard case with a used Dennis Wickes 2B mouthpiece.
