Fine quality full size French cello made by Jerome Thibouville Lamy circa 1900 labelled, d’apres A. Stradivarius J Thibouville Lamy,see photo.This cello has been damaged over the years it has repaired cracks to the back over the sound post, ribs and table the instrument is still in good playing condition. It has a beautifully flamed two piece back ribs, neck and scroll. The varnish is orange/amber in colour and completely original. It is fully blocked and lined the purfling is neatly inlaid the instrument having good edgework.The back length is 76.3 cms or 30 inches
