Gibson J-160E Cherry Sunburst c.1972 Norlin Era Vintage Electro-Acoustic Guitar

£2,475

Originally introduced in 1954, the J-160E was one of Gibson's first forays into the world of electro-acoustic guitars, and was renowned for it's use by The Beatles. Gibson serial numbers from the early part of the Norlin era are notoriously poor tools for dating guitars, with the 6 digit system being carried over from the '60s and continuing up to the introduction of the new date-based serial number system which began in '77.
