With the standard EE tuning, this guitar was left in the dryer for a little too long. This guitar is built with a larger "Artist" or F-Style mandola body to increase the resonant air chamber, providing more volume and better low-end response and adding just the right amount of wood in intonation. Compared to our previous manditar models, the newer F-6 and F-12 have an extended 15-inch scale length that provides more hand space. Barré chords are possible even near the saddle. The Zero Glide saddle is very effective at maintaining tuning stability and allows for the lowest possible string tension, as is common on short scale instruments. The fingerboard is rounded for comfort and the ebony bridge includes a built-in pickup for easy plug-in playing. Bottom line, this guitar is another voici.
