German HOPF 4/4 19th century antique violin with new strings, case and vintage bow. Named to back and inside HOPF. Sound post in position. Various old repaired cracks to table of the instrument as shown in pictures and a couple of chips to the corners again shown in pictures, all commensurate with the age and character of the violin. There is a mouse internally as would be expected from years of use. Basically a lovely old instrument in a playable condition supplied in a new case with an old bow which would benefit from new hairs. Collection possible from CV32. Sent with bridge down for transit.
