this is a short scale bass with the iconic offset Talman body, most of the structure is maple/ roasted maple excluding the fretboard which is jatoba. comes with setup tools and manual it allows for fast playing with its thicker neck and its short scale combined with the dynamix PJ pickups gives it that 'thumpy, fat' sound, basically it sounds big, real big so i got this new on April 23, 2026 to try it out and i was planning to return but i fell in love with it. however it does come with some factory scratches on the scratch plate only which i've highlighted in the photos above along with some of mine - and that is the only 'issue' if i had returned it to Thomann, it would have sold as a B-stock item at £187 but a new scratch plate costs £20-25 so this is a great deal
