This is a traditional Japanese TOZAN ryu Shakuhachi, It's made of Madake bamboo what is a giant timber bamboo most abundant in fertile lowland valleys. It will produces a delicate change of intonation -- a swelling or bending of notes characteristic of the traditional music.
