This KAY K-32 electric guitar is one of the first serious attempts to copy a Fxxdxr Stratocaster, but in a cheap way. The body has the classic double cutaway shape, but is a sandwich wood construction with a mahogany top and an unknown hardwood bottom, a slim maple fillet glued between them.
