Structurally sound, nice looking violin with stunning maple fingerboard. Rather prominent corners. Violin is heavy. Varnish looks a bit stiff. It has been fully set up by an experienced professional luthier. Brand new soundpost, bridge, Wittner tail, bridge, pegs. But it sounds weak and nasally. Plays nicely though. I suspect the plates are too thick and possibly the varnish is acting as a mute. Fancy a challenge? Free case.
