The stand performs as it should, it opens and closes easily and works properly. Note the lower section has dents in it where a Tom Mount has been used and the dents are shown in one of the photos. These dents do not affect the operation of the stand and would make no difference especially if you also intend to clamp things to the stand. It is quite heavy and will easily support a hanging Tom Tom.
