This Matit Carbon Fibre flute head joint with a Mike Allen Silver Lip plate is quite rare. I have included photos of the tenon joint measurement and that of the embouchure hole (if interested) MATIT carbon flutes are produced by ACROBAATTI OY/Matti Kahonen. The company is located in Helsinki, Finland. I have owned this head for a number of years, now as I get older I'm reducing my head joint collection. This head joint plays beautifully and has a resonance unlike silver. The Mike Allen lip adds to the colour. It's lightweight and so if you are feeling the weight of the flute whilst playing this does help reduce any discomfort. A rear beast indeed.
