This oboe would be perfect for an older child/adult learner, as its open-holed nature may present difficulty for those with small hands to cover. It is an Orsi B oboe (a student model) dating from 1985, imported by John Packer, hence the stamp on the bell. The oboe is made from grenadilla (African Blackwood) and although it has plating issues, is functional and makes a lovely sound. It would be good as an interim oboe or a first oboe for a learner. Comes with a reed case for 3 reeds and I will include 3 Howarth Academy soft reeds.
