this drum is a bit of an oddity. it is a 33 which is the birch version of the legendary 35/36 aluminium snares from the 70s. 14 x 5.5, 10 lug shell with internal damper. However..... the badge is later and it has 2 stamps inside- 1 says 77 which would match up with the 33 production dates, the second stamp says 33 87- which would tie in with the badge. my theory is that in 87 someone used a 70s shell to build a 33 snare( for whatever reason?!?) there are no extra holes to say its been converted, and to my knowledge there wasn't a snare made in the late 80s witb these exact specs. only reason im selling is I have another with a mahogany shell, so dont need 2. any questions please ask, see my other listings for more drum stuff including more from premier.
