According to Theo Wanne, the Selmer Airflow is a highly sought-after vintage baritone saxophone mouthpiece originating from the 1940s and 1950s, serving as an ancestor to the famous Selmer Soloist. This could be earlier but they’re not easy to date accurately.It is primarily celebrated among classical and vintage-jazz players for its focused, warm, and dark tonal quality and this was used for that purpose. With a reface this would make an interesting jazz piece. This mouthpiece is in good condition for its age and has a very large chamber. Please see pics.any questions welcome
