Restored Antique Italian Flatback Mandolin - early 1900s flatback no label

Most likely a Luigi Gagliani made for the French market. The top is canted like a Neapolitan bowlback which gives it a sweet tone but it has a flat black design that’s very comfortable to hold. The top is spruce and the sides are rosewood.
