Superb Blackwood full-sized chanter, crafted by the renowned RG Lawrie, of Glasgow. The chanter has a Catalin foot and has no carving, splits or chips. Not sure of its age, but must predate the firm’s closure in 1986. This particular chanter was found in an attic in Tain, Scotland, and relatives of the deceased owner had no idea he had even played the bagpipes.
