This is a great bass! The level of engineering at this price point is incredible. The bridge is a master piece with precise and lockable control over string width, intonation and action. It’s really well thought out. The neck is plecked (levelled by machine) which means you can get a super low and even action. It feels unreal to play. It’s got a phenomenal active eq section, which I mainly use as a cut and it excels at that. This is the newer four knob version. It’s a naturally bright and punchy bass with a thick fundamental tone and works beautifully with the active electronics. The parts are built in Korea and then assembled in Germany. Same pickups and electronics as the boutique Sandbergs. A great great bass.
