The result is a warm-sounding lead pickup that uses Alnico 2 rod magnets and a special coil wind to enhance sustain and output, while maintaining sweet, musical highs and articulate low-end snap. Raised D and G pole pieces match the fretboard radius for even string response, making it ideal for expressive single-note playing and dynamic rhythm work. Pair it with the Alnico II Pro Tele neck pickup for a smooth, vintage-voiced setup. Crafted with period-authentic .187” Alnico 2 magnets, waxed cloth hookup wire, and a copper-plated steel baseplate. Wax potted for squeal-free operation.
