The Sonata FLU701 (also widely branded as Montreux) is an award-winning, silver-plated student flute highly recommended by UK music teachers for beginners. Featuring both curved and straight headjoints, it allows smaller children to learn with correct posture, later converting to a full-size flute as they grow.. This model includes an interchangeable curved headjoint to comfortably reduce the reach for the player's arms, which can then be swapped for the straight headjoint as the student grow. There is some tarnishing causing gold coloured discoloration, making the overall tone gold and silver. The tarnishing may come off with polishing, I haven't attempted this. Was only played for a term but has been sitting in (room temperature) storage for a few years.
