The SONOR AQ2 Bass Drum in 16 x 14 size is a fabulous, punchy, portable kick. Can be used for small low volume gigs, or mic’d and treated for bigger venues - I’ve used it for bop, to rock. Made from high-quality maple, this compact drum exudes a rich and powerful sound. There are several small scratches and slight chips to the bass drum ring, but all cosmetic, and very hard to detect unless forensically inspecting. With a riser and a port hole already cut, this drum is ready to go. Note: The batter head has a split on the first ply, I had a patch on this for a while and it worked well, but it may be a consideration to replace the batter head. As such this is reflected in the price.
