According to the website; “Soundmax Synthetic Drone Reeds deliver stable tuning, rich drone tone, and reliable performance in all climates. Includes 1 bass reed and 2 tenor reeds. Moisture-resistant, low maintenance, and easy to tune for all levels of pipers.” I’ve used these for about 3 hours in total. I actually do like the sound, nice and bright but I’m stuck in my ways and want my Selbies back in. Really easy to get set no matter what strength you need. Sadly they didn’t come in a box they came in a plastic sound max packet but I’ve thrown the packet away so they’ll be sent in an eezee drone box.
