This is a suitable for both jazz and classical but it has a fatter tone than most classical mouthpieces. It has a large round chamber. The surface is slightly worn and discoloured but the tip and rails are all as they should be and the table is flat. Vandoren are known to be very accurately made. I'm selling because I was given another mouthpiece which I now prefer. (at least until the novelty wears off)
