Vintage Bowed Psaltery This is more than 30+ years old It needs a bit of TLC with strings needing replacing and some rust on the pins but the wood is solid with no marks/scratches/dents etc The bowed psaltery is a unique, triangular stringed instrument played by drawing a rosined bow across exposed strings to produce a sweet, haunting, violin-like tone. Despite its medieval aesthetic, the instrument is a 20th-century invention developed for educational and folk music.
