This is a pair of Moroccon clay Folk Art Bongos. They have animal skin drum heads are attractively attached together with rawhide in a crisis cross/triangular pattern. The clay bodies have been hand-painted with blue and white striped borders to the top and bottom and have a celestial pattern of moons and stars to the centre. They weigh 1500kg, 19cms tall and 24.5cms wide. They are in good condition and perfect for displaying. They're the perfect conversation piece!
