This is a vintage Orcana Electric Chord Organ, a classic tabletop reed organ produced in the 1960s to 1970s.How It WorksFan-Driven Reeds: Inside the unit is an electric fan. When plugged in and switched on, the fan continuously blows air over internal "lifetime steel reeds". Pressing a key opens a valve, allowing air to pass through and vibrate the reed, creating an accordion-like sound.Melody Keyboard: The right-hand piano keys are used to play the main melody. Numbers above the keyboard match up with simplified, introductory vintage songbooks.Chord Buttons: The left-hand panel features 8 buttons divided into "Bass" and "Major" variations.
