Violin Carbon fibre replacement tailpiece with gut wire to suit 4/4 & Viola 14"

The saddle end of the tailpiece should be more or less 2/3mm from the saddle at the ridge. So the tailpiece must not be allowed to slide up the violin and move nearer the bridge. By re-tuning you are actually letting the tail piece creep up.
