Violin full size Antique Henry Betts Advanced Player Antique German Instrument

This is a very nice sounding German violin. There was no Henry Betts violin maker in London. There was a famous John Betts. The label is a C19th ruse. Such things were not at all uncommon. I’ve seen this on several German violins.
