Three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84 tubes are used within the AC15 Custom combo in order to drive the single 12” Celestion speaker. You can also create a fuller sound by running an extra 16ohm cabinet along with the internal speakers through the AC15 Custom’s second extension jack.
