This is a super cool bass from the Matsumoku factory in Japan. It’s classic 80s Japanese build with rock solid maple neck and body and a little twist on the electronics. The neck is good to go and is capable of a nice low action. The bass is factory fitted with white (now cream!) DiMarzio pick ups and a toggle to switch between parallel and series modes. Series is your classic P Bass punchy and growly and parallel is something more like a jazz or Rickenbacker, glassy with scooped mids. Two completely different tones. The condition is road worn or “player grade”, basically it’s got a few dings and scrapes. Have a look at the photos. Nothing major but it’s lived a life!
