YAMAHA (Japan) BB1100S BASS GUITAR

Highly regarded and sought after Japanese-built BB1100S. The bass is in very decent condition for its age but does have a number of minor dents and a little buckle rash to the rear of the body. It’s offered with the ORIGINAL YAMAHA HARDCASE. Natural alder body, gloss lacquered maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with 42mm wide nut. 3 band active eq and active/passive switching option offers a wide range of tones suitable for any genre of music. Serial number 6M16007 which suggests that it was built in 1996 although the Yamaha serial system is complicated and confusing with many serials being unrecognisable in Yamaha’s own decoder system! Plays beautifully and sounds… well, BIG!
