Product Reviews

Name: Review:
I've always been a rare customer who leaves reviews, but this keyboard has won me over in ways I never thought possible.

It's an absolute delight to play with, and one that I just can't stop raving about. The simplicity of its design is truly wonderful - it's like having a piece of art on my desk that also happens to be an incredibly functional part of my daily workflow.

The sound quality is sublime, with a rich and full bass that seems to vibrate through every molecule in the room. And the keybed? Smooth as silk, just gliding across the keys with ease and precision. The speakers are nice and loud, providing an immersive audio experience that's hard to beat. I've never been one for flashy gadgets or complicated electronics, but this keyboard is a masterclass in understated elegance.

It looks fantastic on my desk, too - sleek and modern design that adds a touch of sophistication to any office space. And the portability factor? A major plus - I can easily take it with me wherever I go, whether I'm heading home from work or meeting up with friends.

In short, this keyboard is phenomenal - an absolute game-changer for anyone looking for a reliable and high-performance keyboard that's also visually stunning. So if you're in the market for a new one, do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't regret it!

I'd been eyeing a Yamaha EZ220 for some time, drawn to its intuitive keys and built-in songs that made it perfect for learning to play. Its 15 voices were an excellent starting point for me as a complete novice - piano, electric piano, organ, and harpsichord are all covered with ease, making it an ideal instrument for those just starting out.

The quality of the voices was consistently praised by others in this price range, particularly for the NP-12 and its bigger brother the NP-35. I decided to give the EZ220 a try, despite being slightly underwhelmed by some reviewers' claims that these models produced better sound at this price point. Nevertheless, I was pleased with the results.

While there were only 15 voices available, they were all high-quality and accurately emulated - piano, electric piano, organ, and harpsichord are all well-represented. The ability to record and play back my practice sessions is a major plus for me, allowing me to track my progress and improve my playing.

The EQ on the EZ220 is pretty basic compared to some other keyboards around this price point, but it's more than adequate for domestic use - only two speakers are available, but they get the job done. With just 2-3 watts of power driving them, the volume isn't especially loud, and the vibraphone can benefit from a bit more oomph.

If you want to be able to layer voices on top of each other, I'd recommend opting for one of the NP-35 models with its higher-wattage speakers - it's worth the extra cost.
