This is an ex - Schools music Bb Yamaha Cornet - I have shown lots of photos which describe its condition - all valves, caps, tuning slides and water keys are free moving and the instrument tunes-up easily and plays well. This is an ideal cornet for a learner or ‘returner’ and just what I would choose for my youngster, it shows signs of its past, so the odd little ding or knock will not be the end of the world - it will easily take a learner through several grades, and when it’s time for something a little newer you will always find a family looking for a good starter instrument.
