Maintenance work included a complete cleaning, rotary adjustment, solder repair on the lower section of the third tuning slide, lubrication, and replacement of consumable parts such as the rubber bumpers and rotary strings. The fourth rotor changes the instrument to the B♭ side when pressed, and this configuration cannot be reversed.
