The MEINL Wind Gongs are handmade from a special bronze alloy in the traditional way in China. They are also known as Feng or Sun Gong. The shape is almost flat, so the vibration spreads extremely far with a long sustain. One sound characteristic is the predominantly low tones, but hissing overtones can also be achieved by playing harder. This gong comes with a matching mallet and a case.
