It's suitable for a BARITONE saxophone & also for a BASS SAXOPHONE (which is solely where I've used it). The pictures show there is normal discoloration of the body of course where the ligature sits & where a rubber tooth pad was once stuck (I removed it just to show there are no bite indentations underneath) - a really fine example of these legendary mouthpieces.
